Ventilation Systems Installation and Maintenance

AHU (Air Handling Unit) Maintenance and Repair

The AHU contains all the fans and filters in your ventilation systems – its role is to keep the air in your building clean. Of all the elements of a ventilation system it is the one that needs most regular attention.

Filters can get blocked and fan motors break down, so periodically – how often depends on where the building is located, but on average it’s every 6 months – we’d inspect, clean and replace any parts that are not running efficiently, and check the operation of control systems. Poor air quality could shut a building down or automatically turn off the gas where the two systems are connected, as in industrial kitchens.
